Karelian State Pedagogical University is celebrating its 75^th anniversary. Opening of the University in November, 1931 laid the foundation of the high education in the Republic of Karelia and in the North-West of Russia. For these years the University has turned into a large authoritative educational and research institution. Thousands of well-qualified teachers have been trained in the University.
